A Particle Experiment - Episode 36

Pity the poor high energy particle physicists. In order to perform an experiment, they have to destroy whatever they're looking at. Dr. Carlson explains how experiments on tiny particles are tricky. It's not easy to run experiments on things that are smaller than your tools.

Another PhD who finds himself teaching high school physics because of ill parents! I'm loving your web site. I'm searching for videos, of course; I found your site on YouTube (or at least a video).
I'd appreciate other sites for vids you might know. I'm finding some on YT.
I'm an astronomer; to be exact, I'm a solar wind physicist and I am out of my pond right now teaching at a local high school instead of researching the fast coronal winds.
Thank you, again. I've downloaded them all.
Mr. DL (Lynn) Fleming, PhD
I'm creating a BLOG as well. I call myself StarMan. Actually, I'm an xray physicist who sort of fell into solar research. You know how it goes.

Thanks for dropping by. I apologize that episodes have been few and far between, but they are still coming out (just slowly...)
